Like all of my services, I personalize your Jewish wedding. I work with each couple to craft a meaningful ceremony, and I can also write a customized ketubah that reflects your love story if desired. I additionally offer Pre‑Marital Spiritual Counseling.
If your ceremony is in the greater Seattle area, I can officiate. If you are outside Seattle or prefer a different officiant, I can guide you through all preparations and coordinate with your officiant.
For questions or to schedule your complimentary 20‑minute initial phone consultation and/or your first Zoom session, please Contact Me. I will reach out as soon as possible to schedule.

Pre‑Marital Spiritual Counseling All couples can benefit from preparing spiritually and religiously for married life. This is especially recommended for couples with differing approaches to observance and for interfaith couples.
Reciprocal Kiddushin Ceremonies
My specialty is what I call Reciprocal Kiddushin and their accompanying ketubot — egalitarian Jewish weddings that include the beautiful traditional elements while ensuring that the bride is not left vulnerable to iggun.
If you are not familiar with the trauma experienced by agunot, or even if you are, this video offers a clear and powerful explanation. Click Here for more info.
What to Expect In our initial consultation meeting, I will get to know you and discuss how to shape the ceremony for this important life event exactly as you want it to be. Before our first Zoom meeting, I create a rough outline for the ceremony in a shared Google Doc so you can add comments and ask questions.
During our meetings, we review and customize the ceremony together, tailoring it to your preferences and determining who will do what. If you would like a ketubah, we follow the same collaborative process to craft a text that feels authentic and personal to you.
After the details are finalized, we have one final Zoom meeting to go over everything, practice your parts, and answer any remaining questions.
Day‑of Officiant Package — The Wedding Ceremony If you choose to have me officiate, I will lead the ceremony at the venue of your choice. I coordinate with your wedding planner or on‑site coordinator and arrive before the ceremony to ensure everything is set up properly.
After the ceremony, we will complete the required marriage documents according to Washington State procedures.
For information on obtaining a marriage license, visit: https://kingcounty.gov/en/legacy/depts/records-licensing/recorders-office/marriage-licensing
A 50% non‑refundable deposit is required to hold your wedding date, and the remaining balance is due 14 days before the ceremony. Rates vary based on ceremony length and travel. If your venue does not provide a chuppah, I have one available for rental. The chuppah must be picked up in advance, as it needs to be on site before I arrive for the ceremony.
What You Need for a Jewish Wedding The essential elements for a Jewish wedding are simple: you (the couple), an officiant, a chuppah or a tallit held overhead, wine or grape juice, a location, and a ketubah if desired. For a traditional ceremony, two Jewish witnesses are also required.
Many couples also choose to include flowers and decorations, food and beverages, music, photography and/or videography, equipment rentals, transportation, and of course, a beautiful venue.
At this time, I do not maintain a list of local vendors, as I recently relocated from out of state.
