Jewish Healing

Setting Intentions

Set your intention to make a necessary lifestyle change. If something in your life is hurting, there are ways to help mend it.

We are entering the Hebrew month of Nisan/Aries which is referred to in the Torah as the month of spring and known as being the month of miracles (it also happens to be my birth month). This is a wonderful energetic time to focus on the transformations we seek. Now is the time to start setting our intentions to help us reach our potential and become the best people we can be.

Preparatory Steps: Day 14

Active Trust

Ask the Source of all being to help you on your journey. Have trust that you will receive the help you need to succeed in this situation just as you have succeeded countless times in past situations.

This is the Jewish concept of active bitachon (loosely translated as trust). When you are experiencing a challenge in your life that seems overwhelming, or even impossible to overcome, you can switch your perspective by looking back at another challenging time in your life. By examining the outcome of a previous challenge and noting, in retrospect, the Divine assistance you received in the end, you can move forward with a positive outlook.

Preparatory Steps: Day 13

Healing Power

Understand and acknowledge that even though you have the power to heal yourself, ultimately it is through the Source of All that healing is facilitated.

To appreciate this we need to comprehend not only the essence of healing but the essence of our being. It is necessary to simultaneously acknowledge that (1) the ability to heal ourselves is an inherant power that originates inside us and (2); that power is divinely bestowed and all healing (physical, emotional, and spiritual) is brought about by connecting to the Light of our Source.
