Emotional Stress Relief

Get some energy work. This is a great way to release emotional stress as well as to aid your body in beginning to heal physically. Find a method that is compatible with your spiritual beliefs. This is very important.

Finding an appropriate energetic practitioner is not always easy. It is important to find one that you can trust and believe in which is why it is paramount that you make sure the practitioner’s views and practices jive spiritually with yours. All energy is not equal! When you go for a session try to relax and put your logical mind on hold. Be open to receiving healing from the Source of all Life. Afterward, drink plenty of water and rest. Don’t worry if you temporarily feel worse or you have “odd” sensations –this is normal as your body reacts to the treatment.

Let it out!

Find ways that work for you to clear repressed emotions and release stressful feelings. Stress and negative emotions cause imbalance, which exacerbates illness. Energetic Therapy is particularly useful for this purpose.

You can also utilize writing, art, music, prayer, Torah study, exercise, or nature. Or find a private space and scream. Water is particularly healing. Try screaming under the water.

Just Do It!

Getting rid of a major stressor is usually not easy. Do it anyway. See this step as a unique opportunity to grow and perfect yourself. Take the necessary action.

Remember, if it is not possible to eliminate the source of the major stressor from your life, don't give up. Change how you perceive it and you will eliminate the stress within it. This may take time and effort but it is well worth it. Happy Pesach/Passover to those who celebrate.
